What is Zenkaikon?
Since 2006, Zenkaikon has been bringing quality Japanese animation (anime), comics (manga), and popular culture themed events to the Philadelphia area, and is now the region's largest anime convention. Featuring guest appearances, musical performances, costume competitions, video game tournaments, vendors, panels, workshops, game shows, and video screenings, Zenkaikon aims to create a family-friendly event that appeals to a wide audience. After a sold-out attendance of nearly 2000 people at its last event, Zenkaikon expects its growth to continue at its 2012 convention. Zenkaikon 2012 will take place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA on May 11-12, 2012.
