Funny and very cute series. I recommend it. Especially for you....because I know you and I think you will find it as cute as I did. Which is funny I was a little stand offish at first about it, but then I sat down and watched it. Now I'm addicted.

AH! Bset Shojo anime EVER!!!! I LOVE it! It's soooo good! You have to finish it! And if you like the anime you have to read the manga, because they cut a few things out. I'm hoping it will pull a Fruits Basket and have a really long series of manga, cause the show just wasn't enough for me. But it is funny and totally cute!

ahh! thank you so much for the info!! can't wait til 2008!!!

I really wanted to go to Otakon, but the last Harry Potter came out this weekend, and I would have been a very foolish potter fan if I hadden't stayed home all weekend and read.

This is by far my fave shojo anime. I myself might be there in Haruhi cosplay if I have enough money by then.

I truly love this series and all that it is and Nekozawa is my fave character!

I loveeee Ouran. I have for a long time. (since May of last year?) Although I'm actually not sure why Ouran caught on with so many people cause I thought it would be one of those underground things. It seems a little too yaoi fanservice-y for the general public. And I wasn't sure it would come to America, what with the twins and their ... brotherly love and all. (Then again I also thought Loveless wouldn't make it over here. xD) So, just out of curiosity, why do you all like Ouran so much. I know why I do ... but yeah ...

On an off note, my friend should be selling Beezelnef (did I spell that right? xD) puppets again this year. Hopefully. Keep an eye out for them!!!!

Ouran's my guilty pleasure, because 1)I'm a guy, and 2)The fanservice is hilarious. Every other scene, practically is fanservicetastic. And just as a whole it's pretty cute.

I guess the other reason I watch it is because it offsets all the shonen anime I watch...? Does that make sense?

Sure. Most of the anime I watch is Shojo. With the exception of Naruto, my own guilty pleasure.

Ouran is really funny! I'm more a lover of manga in general rather than anime, but this one is wonderful, both stylistically and in content.

I got to see the first two episodes of the Funimation dub at Dragon*Con last weekend - hosted by Vic Mignogna (Tamaki) - and was pleased. I particularly have to note that the casting for Kyoya was spot-on and Caitlin Glass as Haruhi (and director!) is very, very good.

*shrugs* It really comes down to a matter of taste. While some of the voices are hardly what I would have picked, I'm sure others will like what I dislike - I don't think any cast would please everyone 100%.

Where did your friends (and/or you) get to see the dub? Vic did mention that it had also been shown at another con in the past couple of weeks.
