Evening! I'm Zerker. I'm in college, and I love reading manga, eating cheesesteaks, and most of all, swordfighting! I'm a HUGE fan of Sleeping Samurai. They are an Interactive Entertainment guest that provides weekend-long (or two days lol) arena battling with foam weaponry. It's a blast, and they are no strangers to Pennsylvania. In fact, they have a following here in PA, as well as NY and NJ, that go to cons to volunteer or just meet up with old friends for the con weekend and enjoy time together.

Sleeping Samurai's battles usually consist of exhibition bouts, but also host several tournaments with the main prize being an item from their inventory. The company forges and sells their own foam-made, Japanese-based weaponry for their battles and even for personal use. It has a huge following in PA, NY, and NJ, and a few other groups throughout the nation. We're all close with each other, and we try to go to cons together when it comes to Sleeping Samurai because it's like a family reunion for us. I'd love to have one at Zenkaikon since a lot of my brothers and sister can come down for it. I really think SS would also be a great draw for Zenkaikon and for people who never had an opportunity like this before. We're always open to meeting new people and allowing our family to grow.

Those are my thoughts and my dreams, so, yes, I may be a bit delusional with this dream, but that's who I am. Not just a dreamer, mind you. I am Zerker, and I am a fighting dreamer.

Tainted Reality is a good suggestion since they not only sponsor J-rock music and culture, but they can also bring Dreaded Eden or a Japanese band with them. I also recommend Chris Malone, the creator of Blue and Blond.
