Calling all Ouran Cosplayers

Hello there if you look in the questions section of this forum you will see that the question was asked of having an actual Host club. I myself am planning on being Haruhi, and I have a friend who might be Renge but we need other people who would be willing to be the rest of the Host Club. If you are interested please post here and I would love for you to be a part of this!

Basicaly we would have iced tea and maybe I'll bake cupcakes for the ocation. This would be a great chance to make new friends and some great con memories.

(I hope no one minds if Haruhi has dark hair a little on the red side because my funds might not let me get a wig in time for the con ^^)


and for the record if no one is gong to be a member of the host club besides me I'm not going to do this.
I would at least like one person to join and then I will be happy.

I cosplayed as Kyoya Ootori at Anime Next and had alot of fun in the Ouran gathering there.

I'm already cosplaying as Hanataro from Bleach, but I should have no problems double cosplaying as Kyoya if there is going to be an Ouran gathering.

What time are you planning on holding the gathering?

I'm still thinking about the time because I want to know the plan of events going on at Zen and you and I seem to be the only ones who actually be cosplaying to the gathering. I do need to take into acount people who don't come onto the forums that would cosplay from Ouran but I highly doubt that.

I plan on being Haruhi from the beging of the con until mid-late afternoon then I would change into Rukia. So when do you plan on arriving at the convention and which cosplay do you plan on comming in? Depending on that and the time of other events going on at the con I will plan the time

Why dont you ouran guys do a skit in the zenkai masq? we REALLY need more entrants for that and it would be so cool if you would enter! OR dating game we need entrants too. details in the announcements and cosplay sections of the forums

(I origionally thought about going as Hanataro for the ADG, but his personality was too difficult to roleplay perfectly. That and the questions are much easier to answer as Kyoya) Of course my schedule is subject to change depending on the con schedule.

I'm not sure about the masqurade, but if we can get enough of the Ouran cast together, maybe we can upgrade the gathering by getting an area to do an actual host club. I know of a place that sells some pretty good coffee beans, or we can use "commoner's" coffee.

I was thinking along the same lines as the actual host club and more people or not I plan on baking cupcakes

P.s keep this in mind i will be ordering my costume online within the week and I pray it will get here in time, in the event that it does not I will just be Haruhi before all the boys dolled her up and did her hair and such becuase I have that costume already ^^

I already have my Ouran costume and my Bleach costume is supposed to arrive soon.

Since you are bringing food, I'll bring the drinks. What type would be best? I do have a cappucino machine but the problem would be finding somewhere to plug it in. Or maybe tone it down and bring in something that the commoners can appreciate.

I hope your costume arrives in time, because the "King" demands it and the "Shadow King" agrees.

Kewl. So if the schedule permits, what character do you plan on coming in as?

So far we have a:

1. Haruhi [ixmarisaxi]
2. Renge [ismarisaxi's friend]
3. Kyoya [me]

Right now we are missing:

Hitachiin brothers (it would be great if we can get actual twins)
Morinozuka w/ Haninozuka accessory
Casanova w/ cat ears :3
Nekozawa
The Zuka club (mad props to anyone that can cosplay their on the spot costume changes)

We don't have to worry about Suou, he's probably hiding somewhere growing mushrooms again.



For the iced tea, I'm considering Brisk Iced tea and Lipton Iced tea. I'm also considering in the spirit of Ouran to go with something fancy to impress the commoners. More on this later once I find something to transport with.
