Dangit I cant find any thing karaoke in ENglish or japanese DX So Until I find somethign I've decided to sing a certain video game song until I find another one that I can match my voice to...IM not telling you what it is...I might git mah thunder stolen +)

Hey Zolan, two things...

1. I'm not too keen on video game themes in the karaoke contest. I think the rules are just anime/j-pop/rock/hip-hop tracks. If I didn't specify, then it's cool with me.

2. WE'll do our best to adjust the vocals. ^_^

Hmm? What's wrong with video game themes? It's still sung in Japanese, and I feel that it's still in the category to JPOP. Just as long as it has lyrics and music, I don't feel that it should be a problem. I

example - Passion (Kingdom Hearts)

Would you forbid him from singing it? =P

No, it's just that I'm so used to running strictly karaoke with just anime. But Passion falls under Utada Hikaru = Jpop. :p

I wouldn't forbid it. ^^

this will be my first con and i love going every week to my local bar for karaoke.i have some songs burnt to cd but they have the original singers on them.usueally my freind who runs the karaoke will treak the controls a bit if he can so u cant hear them as well.is this ok to do at the event?if not is there any way to find out if the songs i want to sing are in the list/book that will be there? i like to practice weeks a head of time especially if its infront of a lot of ppl

*whack.* That's not the point. I'm saying it's still from a video game, and that song was specifically used for that game, regardless of if it's origins was from a jpop singer.

You know I will debate this with you. =D

hmm... I wonder if the con chair is interested in singing a song with me. I wonder if it'll be an OP for the contest or not... xDDD That's why I'm thinking so hard...

Otherwise, I guess we're just announcing our names and introducing the contestants. XD

Sure! I would love to sing with you. Although it would depend on which song. It takes me a while to learn them and then I still need the lyrics heh ^^;;

LOL....Well Actually the rock version of simple and clean was gonna be my secret weapon xD But I figure that at least TWO people are gonna use Kingdom hearts songs so I found ANOTHER secret weapon, I'm converting a youtube video of an Instrumental version of an Anime/Jrock song into a Mp3 file so I should be able to work that out >D I SHALL BE VICTORIOUS!
