February 20th, 2010 is Project Linus' "Make a Blanket Day".
Project Linus is a national volunteer organization that has provided traumatized and seriously ill children
with handmade security blankets and quilts.

Many local chapters hold their own events. I know in South Jersey, Kennedy Health Center in Voorhees is having special activities that morning. Click for more info

These are only estimates since different Chapters do allow different sizes and have different rules for their blankets. Such as no fringe on blankets or buttons.
Here are the size guidelines. (Please remember these are approximate.) Kids come in different sizes, so
do your blankets! There is a need for boy colors and teen sizes.
