April was a busy month for the Zenkaikon staff. In addition to announcing our next convention and running activities at Sakura Sunday, we also attended T-MODE 2010!
T-MODE is an anime and gaming convention in Alexandria, VA, and a number of the Zenkaikon staff were on hand to man our booth in their Otaku Bazaar. We had a great time chatting with attendees about Zenkaikon, and showing them pictures of our last convention! We also ran into ConGoer/Vidgle, who covered our convention as press last year. If you haven’t checked out the awesome videos they filmed of our 2009 con yet, I highly recommend it. We hope to have some of them playing at the next booth we run.
During our off-time from the booth, we got to check out the rest of the convention! We saw entertaining panels, played carnival games, and our Registration Head was recruited into a round of Iron Artist by Zenkaikon’s 2009 guests, Geeks Next Door. (Unfortunately, he also proved he should not go into illustration, sorry Tim!) Yours truly even got to attend her first convention rave, which was a lot of fun!
